Buffalo Jump Environmental is the Provider of the National Sustainable Building Advisor Program in Alberta, Canada. This Certification Program is geared toward building professionals who are looking to extend their knowledge of green building practices. In order to accommodate the working professional the SBA course runs nine months with just two classroom days per month. Local Guest Instructors, building tours, group projects and classroom exercises are all part of the integrated curriculum.
There are no specific pre-requisites for the program other than the desire to learn about building better, more energy efficient, healthy and cost effective buildings. Our graduates include Architects, Engineers, Realtors, Planners, Builders, Developers and many others; even those who want to change their careers or start a new one.
Best of all you will work with and get to know a group of people who have similar goals; a community of green building professionals in your local area. After graduation, many of our students end up working together on a project, recommending each other for jobs and even hiring each other.
